Well-known Ugandan gospel musician and Pastor, Justine Nabbosa and lawyer Jonathan Muwaganya exchanged their wedding vows in front of an audience of more than 100 guests at Gospel Messengers Church – Lusaka Zone 6 Makindye, Kampala on Saturday at noon.
Walking down the aisle, the bride was clad in a beautiful, outstanding, pure white gown above and, along with her veil, her dress was adorned with an appealing glitter effect.
The groom, who Justine described as “kind, focused and committed”, opted for a fashionable close-fitting white coat with a bow tie that blended well with the entourage, and made a profound statement about his eye for class.
Their wedding ceremony comes a week after, the sensational “Oli Katonda” hit singer introduced her husband to family and friend at her father’s home in Kamuli.
The wedding, just like her introduction ceremony, drew several gospel artists and Pastors.
Pastor Bugembe Preached
Worship House lead Pastor, Wilson Bugembe preached at Nabbosa’s wedding. He used the occasion to remind the couple and entire audience that “your choice of a life partner is no accident.”
Bugembe urged the couple to understand that marriage is a unique institution created by God, and that they must desire to live a life that brings Him glory.
How the two met
In a recent interview with media, Jonathan Muwaganya explained that his love for Justine blossomed at Hotel Africana, during the launch of Bugembe’s ‘Komawo Eka Album’.
Jonathan sat close to a group of people, who spent a great part of the evening speaking highly of Nabbosa’s good Character.
According to the New Vision, Muwaganya had always seen Justine, but had never made a move. But his eavesdropping of the discussion about her, gave him the courage to approach her.
“I knew Justine was the right woman for me,” Jonathan said, according to a state aided news daily.
It is here that he looked for Nabbosa’s contact number, and asked her out on a first date, and the rest is history. The couple dated for 3 years.
