Keron Raphael Kabugo, the son of one of Uganda’s top female vocalists, Juliana Kanyomozi passed on in late July 2014.
Aged 11, little Keron died at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi Kenya where he had been taken for treatment.
His death was met with a surge of tributes from Juliana’s friends, fellow musicians, fans and wellwishers, with many sending their condolences on social media.
Close to 2 years down the road, the musical legend took to social media on Tuesday celebrating this every day on which Karen was ushered into this world.
“On this day at 2pm, God brought you into this world and into my life. Once your purpose on this earth was over, he called you back to him, where you truly belong. Thank you for bringing me so much joy. You are and always will be the best thing that ever happened to me. Happy birthday Keron, you would have been 14 today. I love you angel and always will. Mum”
