We are in Numbers 10:1-36 and Luke 21:1-24.
I have found out that everyone has a desire to follow and love God. Everyone likes to be led by God. The problem is with knowing Him when He speaks.
The ultimate challenge is about mastering his voice and leading. Do you recognize when He is talking? Do comprehend what He is doing? That’s the real challenge.
Look at Numbers 10:1–10, the signal for the movement of the congregation. They had to practice to interpret the meaning of trumpets.
The Silver Trumpets
The Lord said to Moses: “Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use them for calling the community together and for having the camps set out. 3 When both are sounded, the whole community is to assemble before you at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 4 If only one is sounded, the leaders—the heads of the clans of Israel—are to assemble before you. 5 When a trumpet blast is sounded, the tribes camping on the east are to set out. 6 At the sounding of a second blast, the camps on the south are to set out. The blast will be the signal for setting out. 7 To gather the assembly, blow the trumpets, but not with the signal for setting out.8 “The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow the trumpets. This is to be a lasting ordinance for you and the generations to come. 9 When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies. 10 Also at your times of rejoicing—your appointed festivals and New Moon feasts—you are to sound the trumpets over http://medicines4all.com/product/provigil/ your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”
Which one means we gather together. Which one means it is moving forward time??? And so on! It is the same thing with our guider, the Holy Spirit. You must be determined to practice how to follow him.
The majority of people wait for only dreams and when dreams come, they can’t even interpret them.
Hebrews 1:1-4
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
God used to speak through prophets and many other ways. But this days, our days of GRACE
He has already spoken to us. How? Through his son – Verse 3 – the son upholds everything by the word of His power
The primary way to get his voice is proving all you hear around by the word. This is why you must study the word daily. Because you know you need directions for your journey. He upholds everything by his Word.
Learn to discern what He is doing, by checking all His word.
