Do you hear many kids saying they want to be a politician these days? Yes, they do want to be preachers, singers, radio Presenters, writers, but not politicians
According to recent data from YouGov, only 1% of 8 to 15 year olds would want to be a politicians when they grow up.
In s.2, it turns out that the by then little Brian Lubega was quite power hungry.
The harmonious worshiper turned 31 today and from what he just shared with his fans on social media, his obedience to the evangelical calling has over shadowed the political agenda.
“I want to thank God for this far the Lord has brought me it’s now 31 years. In my top class, I always desired to see my father preach the Gospel, I refused to attend Sunday school because I thought I was very old to seat with children So I always we to the church where the old people fellowshipped. I was taught Psalms 23 which now has became a song to Many after 28 years,” Brian wrote
Although he started singing in 2003 when he was in secondary school, it was not until 2011 that Lubega fully took on the calling.
He then released several hit singles that include Nungamya, the song trending all airwaves, Christian and non christian radio stations alike.
In s.2, I heard the Lord telling me that I will study from abroad and I didn’t (put) much thought on it, and always thought that I would be a preacher, Singer, a radio Presenter, writer and a politician and I really have the passion for the above. And what God told me in S.2 happened and it again took me in the bible school thanks to youth for Christ,” he further added.
Married to Mrs Lubega on 17th January, 2015, Brian is today one of the well established vocal worshipers who will not rush to release a song because everyone is.
Nungamya, he says was composed in 2004, however, we just heard the song recently. “I was looking for God’s direction…I don’t want to do something which is not excellent,” he recalls in part, during one recent interview with Anna Katusiime.
“The artistes should not panic and remember the source of our faith. Do not allow anyone to put you under pressure. If you have to walk, do so, we are human beings but filled with the Spirit of God,”
Brian Lubega concluded his ‘Birthday speech’ by appreciating every man and woman who contributed massively to the call of God on his life.“In these 31 years, happy birthday to me,”
