Maybe you’re finding it hard to hold onto hope in the wake of a significant loss or a rough patch in your relationship. Or maybe you’re simply feeling overwhelmed or are facing a period of extreme uncertainty.
Radio minister and Pastor, Stella Aza – Madia of the “Beauty for Ashes” program on Spirit 96.6 FM encourages you to persist in prayer.
Stella explained in a recent Facebook post that many uncomfortable or inconvenient situations will remain the same until one fully stands firm in faith, and embraces God’s presence in their life.
“You may be weary and disappointed now, but you are restored in the presence of the Lord. Don’t run out of the presence, that is where your miracle is,” she said. “There’s nothing impossible with our God, the God of impossibilities is the one we serve. Where the light is, darkness cannot be.”
In Ezekiel 37, the Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy life back into dead, dry bones. In the same way, Pastor Stella Aza – Madia urges that Christians need to make a crucial decision to actively speak God’s Word over every difficult situation in their life.
“Begin decreeing and declaring,” she said.
She went on: “Be encouraged in the Lord amidst the situations that arise while you are praying. Continue praying, that prayer is availing much (James 5:16). What Esther had to do in order to overcome was to call forth a banquet (Esther 5). You need to call forth a celebration amidst what the enemy has plotted against your life.”
Most Christians accept Jesus’ resurrection, but have we fully comprehended its power and impact?
“The life of anything is in the blood, you have the blood of Jesus. You may be hearing all kinds of reports but rejoice in the Lord. As long as you are in the presence of the Lord, anything can happen. Create an atmosphere for the presence of God. That situation is not unto death but for the glory of the Lord, because for His glory to manifest there needs to be a situation for Him to ride on. That situation you are going through is for God to ride on,” she said.
“The ark of the covenant had just destroyed Uzzah (2 Samuel 6) but David and his people created a celebration, they created their miracles. They created an atmosphere for the presence of the Lord. Amidst your situation create a celebration around you,” she added, quoting Habakkuk 3:17-18.
It reads: “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”
Pastor Aza – Madia urged that if we stop limiting God, we can experience the miraculous in our lives.
