Pure Flix is distributing “Hillsong-Let Hope Rise”, the highly anticipated feature film that chronicles the spectacular and miraculous rise to prominence of the Australia-based band, Hillsong UNITED.
The new trailer has been released this week and it is still expected to release in the United States on September 16.
The Sydney-based band’s worship songs are sung by 50 million churchgoers every Sunday morning (according to the brand new trailer documentary, Hillsong – Let Hope Rise).
Director Michael John Warren, known for his work on rapper Jay-Z’s Fade to Black, captures that fervor and their God-glorifying story in this new music documentary.
Not a religious person, Warren says that “working with the group has made him a better person, even though he’s not a believer”.
Hillsong – Let Hope Rise is rated PG for some thematic elements.
