Spoken Zoe passes on.

Christian song writer, recording artist, and events manager, Okoth Isaac better known as Spoken Zoe has passed on at 25.

UG Christian News learnt that the renown CEO of the Gospel Lounge Night breathed his last Wednesday morning (5am), hours after being admitted at Gwatiro hospital in Bweyogere.

Medical reports reveal that Spoken Zoe succumbed to Pneumonia, and close friends say he started feeling unwell two weeks ago.

“He was first admitted at Mengo hospital. He improved and was later discharged. He was even able to attend a service on Sunday,” Zoe’s close friend, Tborne told this reporter.

“The situation only got worse on Tuesday and was rushed to Gwatiro hospital in Bweyogere since it is close home,” Tborne added, noting that Zoe complained about the medicine prescribed at Mengo as being “way too strong for his body.”

By Press time, Tborne had confirmed that the family of the deceased was making all necessary arrangements to have Zoe’s remains moved from the hospital to his home district, Tororo.

Several Christians have since taken to social media to express their condolences.

Gospel rapper Race T wrote: “I will always remember you in heart.. You are one of the people who believed in me and helped me do my first concert. I will miss you but I know you are in a good place with our father.”

“We spoke on Saturday after the Christ Embassy crusade little did I know that you will be leaving soon. I wish I knew I would have used that opportunity to see you off. It was great working with you,” a one Wandera Silver wrote.

“You will live forever in my heart! I love you bro! Thank for the Courage you showed me this morning in my arms. You said “we’re soldiers – we keep fighting”, I will keep those words and keep fighting. I love you dearly. Till will we meet again. Rest in peace,” said Wapak Rwot.
