Founder and President of Girl Power Ministries, Pastor Jessica Kayanja was confirmed among the keynote speakers for a mega Women’s convention happening in Accra, Ghana this week.

Running under the theme ‘Treasures in earthen vessels’, the wife to Pastor Robert Kayanja and co-Pastor at Miracle Centre Cathedral – Rubaga will address multitudes during ‘Women Arise 2019’ hosted by the Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International (ACI) Nicholas Duncan-Williams.

Archbishop Williams is the founder of the Charismatic Movement which started 40 years ago in Ghana and other parts of West Africa.

Pastor Jessica is expected to be joined by among others Bishop Derek Nunekpeku, Rev Patricia Sappor, Rev Olivia Dotse and others. The convention is scheduled for 29th August, 2019 till 31st August, 2019.

“There is this treasure that lies within your earthen vessels. Nothing can dim the light that shines from within. Unveil the hidden treasure within you at the annual Action Chapel Int., Women’s convention,” an official statement on the event reads.

Last year, Pr Jessica attended ‘Impact 2018,’ a Christian event in Ghana that seeks to influence and train a new generation in excellence and ethical leadership for ministry, leadership and business among other areas, organised by the same Ministry.

She also in 2017 spoke at The African Business and Leadership Summit graced by preachers including Bishop of The Potter’s House, TD Jakes.

In a bid to empower women, Pr Jessica Kayanja started Girl Power Ministries in 2005 to equip the total woman physically, economically and most importantly spiritually.

Girl Power has set out to help Women discover the exceptional traits that God has endowed them with and exploit these strengths to attain their individual destinies for the greater good of society.

“We believe that the first ministry ever accorded to the woman in the bible was the ministry of helps because God said of the woman when he first mentioned her that “Let us make man a helper fit for him” Genesis 2:18. We believe in the divine role of a wife and a mother as documented in the bible and the priest hood of the man as the head of the home , we also acknowledge that being submissive does not make us less stronger as women but shows that we walk in line with the word of God,” Girl Power biography reads.
