Life coach, speaker and counselor Bahati Hilda has advised women saying that rather than looking for Mr Perfect, find Mr Right and focus on making him better.
She was speaking during one of the recent Red Sofa Sessions held at Garden City Rooftop, Kampala – Uganda.
“Learn to notice who a good man is by letting people into your life, not chasing everyone. That is how you will know that this can be a friend, this is husband material; And if they can – and are willing to – become better.” Bahati said.
“Those men you see looking good, and are not single, reason is that their women are investing in them.They have done something to improve them. So, get yours and improve yours.” She added.
The popular TV and radio personality encouraged the attendants saying that as one prepares for a long time relationship, it is vital for one to look into one’s character for “we attracts who we are – just like magnets”
“Apart from waiting for perfect packages, I think we as ladies need to look through our character. Sometimes Character can chase away a good man. Men love their ego. You cannot attract a man when you are ‘a man yourself’ – when you are so full of yourself.”
“This goes most especially to girls that feel they are very beautiful and those that are not waiting for a rich man, that say; I have my money, you do not tell me what to do, I can afford a car, I can build my house, I don’t care. But at the end of it all, you start clocking those years. you start panicking hence making the wrong relationship decisions. ” He said.
