Social media posts mourning USA based Ugandan pastor Charles Bagenda have been disputed by close friends and relatives of the preacher who confirmed to UG Christian News Saturday morning that he is alive, though under intensive care.
Many, including Pastors throughout Friday shared “rest in peace” graphics mourning Bagenda, purporting that he succumbed to an illness that started when he returned from Uganda after a church mission one week ago.
“His still alive but in intensive care,” Pr Kwezi Francis, President at Restoration For Nations Ministries told this reporter.
He added, “I spoke to a Pastor in Boston and conformed that his still alive. He suffered a severe heart attack, developed a blood clot. His not dead but needs our prayers,” he added. “That information, that Charles is dead we have not confirmed were Pastor JB Katende got it.”
Pr Kwezi Francis says he talked to Pastor Mildred, Charles Bagenda’s best friend, this morning (Saturday) at around 4:00 am local time, “she called her assistant and confirmed the man of God is still alive.”
Speaking to UG Christian News on phone in Boston, Pastor Mildred re-echoed the same statement confirming that Pr Charles Bagenda “is still alive.”
