Author and radio minister Stella Aza – Madia of the “Beauty for Ashes” program on Spirit 96.6 FM has become synonymous with invincible words of encouragement for the endangered generation.
Throughout her radio program, she is the first person to point to a higher power than herself. When she reveals her past experiences as a child, she often uses the opportunity to talk about her own hero: Jesus Christ.
Her ‘Beauty for Ashes’ testimony highlights challenges that started when her mother tried to throw her in a pit latrine when she was only three months.
Later raped more than once, Stella uses her opportunity on radio to testify about how she was able to recover from the ordeal and focus on high voltage ministry of healing to the broken hearts.

On turning negative energy into positive energy…
When someone wrongs you or when people often hurt you, the enemy just wants to create an impression that people are all bad….Which is not the point. Remedy: Turn all that negative energy into positive energy – tell the world that amidst the pain you still love people and can still do good.
On waiting upon the Lord…
When the spirit of the Lord comes upon you, He anoints you and you become another man. Through waiting on God, we allow the Holy ghost to come into our life. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
On Pressing on….
No matter what happens in your life: the twists and storms. As years have gone by I have discovered that after the dark clouds the sun will rise again. The tears will dry and you will have a new smile. Press on! Whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
On being mad with God…
Everyone has got into a situation where by, it has becomes contrary to the outcomes. This happens to so many people; be it celebrities, prominent and ordinary people. Even Jesus Himself went through the same thing where by He felt forsaken by His Father in Heaven
Some of you are mad with God because of the situations clocking each and everyday, you are fearful of the future due to what is not happening in your life. I want to tell you that there’s a shining star deposited inside of you to bring about beauty in your life because it longs to come out.
At times you are going through situations that the Lord warned you, but somehow you insisted to go ahead and do what you wanted. I won’t blame or condemn you….everything happens for the good of them who love the Lord.
God can still heal your heart even after you’ve gone through painful experiences due to failure from hearkening to Him, your parents, friends.
But He heals your heart and gives you beauty irrespective of the past mistakes because He doesn’t consider the past mistakes.
God doesn’t look at the fact that your Fallopian tubes are weakened or spoilt due to the several abortions you had. He looks at you as His favorite, because there’s no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
