The lineup for the annual Virtuous Woman Conference has been unmasked in preparation for this year’s edition.  The conference is scheduled to take place from the 29th April 2022 to 1st May 2022 in Kampala, Uganda’s capital.

Christ Heart Ministries as the host is a holistic ministry that mentors leaders for generational impact, according to a statement sent to Uganda Christian News.

This year’s theme “Understanding the times” is derived from 1 Chronicles 12:32.

It focuses on not only on understanding the times but also on knowing what ought to be done in those times, the statement reads.

“The thing that helped the children of Issachar was trusting and hearing from God about what to do. We ought to know how to always listen from God” Rev. Deborah Mbuga, the head of the women’s ministry noted.

The well-curated Virtuous Woman Conference’s mandate is “to uplift and inspire women in Uganda and across the world.” The conference kicked off with a Business Expo on 23rd April 2022 at the Centre of Excellence on Level 5 Mabirizi Complex.

The Expo included several trainings on personal branding by Mrs. Julie Kasita the Country Director and Mrs. Immaculate Mukuye a lawyer with a wealth of experience in cooperate law who spoke about how business owners can legalize their businesses.

On the 29th of April, the grand anticipated dinner will commence at Hotel Africana.

As a norm, the dinner creates a space where women are celebrated for doing beyond just the call of duty and their   impact on society in the different spheres of life. At the dinner, a skilling centre construction project will be launched.

The skilling centre will offer both boys and girls as well as men and women life skills and training for life transformation purposes.

Speaking about this year’s conference, Rev. Deborah Mbuga noted that, “Often times the church has had an idea of a thing but we kind of have a lot of information packed there and aren’t able to do something about it. This year, we are taking all the information we have learned over the several editions of the Virtuous Woman Conference and applying ourselves to it.”

This year’s conference’s main goal is to flesh out all the wisdom into a more practically tangible form that another generation is likely to find when we are probably long gone through the construction of a Youth Skilling Centre.

As part of the church’s vision to empower people for generational impact, Christ Heart Ministries International will also host the homecoming services on 30th April 21, 2022 and 1st May 2022 at its main branch in Mukono, lower Kawuga opposite Hass Petrol Station.

“Most of us have not been physically together for nearly 2 years because of the lockdown and these homecoming services are designed to work towards uniting us, “Bishop Isaiah Mbuga who over sees the ministry asserted.

More or less like last year, the conference will feature a series of seasoned speakers including young rising women, women in positions of influence, and veteran women who have overcome different crises in life.

Among these include; Dr. Maggie Kigozi a medical doctor by training and an established business Woman who sits on several boards among which include Trustee Shell Foundation UK, Mrs. Margret Ssekidde a renowned business woman and proprietor of Seroma LTD , Mr. Solomon King Benge the founder of Fundee Bots a non-profit accelerating science learning in Uganda and an African Visionary Fellow of the Segal Family Foundation, Ms. Christine Mukasa-Mugerwa a professional banker with over 18 year of experience and certified business coach who helps individuals achieve their dreams in record time, Ms. Joan Mugyenzi the founder and proprietor of Imagine Me Africa an organization that helps individuals achieve their dream in record time, Dr. Evelyn Mubiru the Director Mulago Women’s Hospital, Pr. Emma Inagbire  together with Pr. Immaculate Mukuye from Christ’s Heart Mukono  and the hosts Bishop Isaiah and Reverend Deborah Mbuga.

The conference will also feature a panel discussion on Reproductive Health. This discussion will be steered by outstanding health professionals like; Dr. Sarah Nakubulwa and Dr. Joel Lwasa.

Moving on, Rev. Deborah Mbuga says the conference offers a diversity of people a real gospel, people who are not of this world but living in this world.

Last year, the panel discussion revolved around mental health, a very timely discussion considering the effects of the lockdown where people had lost loved ones, money and jobs leading to an increase in depression cases among people. The panelists shared their experiences about how they overcame their situations helping others to come out of the same. “If we must put off the gloves to touch where it is hurting, we shall do so.”

At the peak of Virtuous Woman Conference, the event will climax in an inspirational and soul-touching services with several Christ’s Heart Church branches coming together at the ministry headquarters in Mukono.

Virtuous Woman is a Christ’s Heart women’s ministry that seeks to create turning points for women who have previously opted to quit on life. The Ministry provides them with knowledge and skills that inspire them to live a life of purpose.

Bishop Isaiah Mbuga invites both women and men from all walks of life to attend this year’s Virtuous Woman Conference: “As Christ’s Heart Ministries International, we believe in supporting women and mentoring them for a generational impact. It’s through such conferences like this that we teach, correct and uplift them. Come and be prepared for God’s purpose for your life in such a time as this.”
