Founder of Victory Christian Centre – Ndeeba, Dr. Joseph Serwadda has told Christians in the United States that God is calling the church “out of incubation”, into a “new dimension”.
Dr Serwadda, fully convinced “greater times are here”, made these remarks during his visit to Destiny Family Center located in Stuarts Draft, Virginia led by established author and Pastor Dr. Chuck Balsamo
The Presiding Apostle of the Born Again Faith Federation was in the company of his wife, Pastor Freda Serwadda.
“We must answer the call of God on our lives. I am convinced that God is calling this church to a new dimension – I believe the time of incubation for your church is done – go out to influence the whole world,” Dr Serwadda said in his sermon.
“You are not alone on your new assignment. We must all prepare in some way for these assignments. We prepare for marriage, we prepare for jobs, we prepare for appointments,” he added.
“So was it with Esther, Paul, Joseph son of Jacob. God prepared Joseph through dreams, family betrayal. He was [falsely accused] and imprisoned for years, but he still had the ability to hear from God,” he added. “God will sometimes use the negative conditions we go through to show us the way.”
After leaving a very successful real estate business to launch Chuck Balsamo Ministries in 1999, Chuck, went out full time to evangelize the lost and call the churches of America to action.
Over the past 10 years, Destiny Family Center has reported growth and in 2006, launched a Bible College starting with 32 students and offering accreditation through the Ph.D. level.
Balsamo has for several years now been part of the Pass Over Prayer celebration held annually in Kampala at the Mandela National Stadium.
Moving on, Dr Serwadda explained to the congregation that God prepares each Christians in a unique way “so that He can get the best out of you.”
“Not all preparation will be fun and positive – God often uses multiple streams of preparation. Some of your preparation only makes sense lookin back – like training and education,” he said.
