Dr Michael Kimuli is encouraging Christians in Uganda to align themselves to the “prophetic destiny” of the country.
In an update this week, the senior pastor of Christian Discipleship Ministries International stated that God has sent a number of men and women to prophesy, “in order to tell us the destiny of Uganda,” he said.
He pointed out that in 1995, a prophetic declaration was made upon the country in which God “promised us a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit which was to come upon our nation to transform it and the church from what it was then,” he said.
Dr Michael Kimuli shared the prophesy below:
“The time has come when my hand is going to open up the borders of Uganda, you will have an open nation for I am going to bring many people from all over the world and people who are suffering, people with heartaches, people who have come to the end of themselves will come into this nation. For I will make this nation into a living fountain where the riches of my peace will be flowing. When the peoples of the world shall come to this water they will perceive it and their hearts will receive peace they will be strengthened, they will rise up, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, they will return home with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Many will look to this nation for their solutions the wise of the world , the powerful of the world they will come here to seek counsel from from men and women of God. I will open the boundaries of this nation because am going to raise women and men of this land and I will send them to the nations of the world with a flag of revival and wherever they will go, people will flock unto them not because of what they are but because they will see Christ in them. I purposed from long ago to turn this nation into my own jewel and I will seal it upon my palm, I will make it the glory of the nations. I the lord has purposed to make it the lamp of the nations. Not because they are worthy or because of anything good they have done but because I choose that which I choose. There are many men and women and children in this nation who have the call of God on their lives. The multitude of people in churches who look like ordinary people , or mere believers but they have mighty callings on their lives and many have got their ministries outside this nation. Some are supposed to go to other lands in order to fulfill their calling but that has not yet come to pass. My design is that I will take the whole of this nation and shake it and out of it I will produce a new people and I will send them out of this nation as my messengers into the nations of the world and wherever they will go the world will know they are sent of God and called of God.”
Furthermore, his statement was accompanied by remarks attributed to international televangelist, Pastor Benny Hinn concerning Uganda.
Speaking during the ‘Experience Conference’ at the Maker’s House Chapel International (TMH), Accra in 2019, Benny Hinn spoke of “mighty Holy Ghost restoration” in Uganda beginning 2022.
“I see a mighty move of the Holy Ghost in Uganda, a mighty move of the Holy Spirit will begin in Uganda in 2022, exactly three years from today. A mighty, mighty mighty Holy Ghost restoration will come to the nation of Uganda,” Hinn said.
For most theologians, it is recommended that all prophetic words be recorded and that they should be transcribed and kept for future reference.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21, the apostle Paul writes, “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise the words of prophets, but test everything; hold fast to what is good.”
1 Timothy 1:18 tells the Church to prepare for warfare with God’s prophetic words at hand; “I am giving you these instructions, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies made earlier about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight…”
“Institute prayer in every home, every community, every church and in every heart. Seek God with all your hearts and He will bring forth an unceasing fire. The Lord is awakening us again,” Dr Kumuli said.
