Because of the way “prophecy” is commonly used, there is a misconception about what its basic definition is .
Throughout the ages, a lot of people have said they believe the Bible. Are you part of that group? Did you know one third of this holy book consists of prophecy?

Pr. Dr Godfrey Kamese of Praise Cathedral Church located at Ntinda used his Sunday sermon to equip Christians with wisdom on how they can Unlock their Prophetic times and Seasons.
“Recently, with all the prophetic scandals and scenarios going on in the world, people have lost faith in prophecy, prophets and prophetesses. But brethren, without prophecy, you cannot prosper,” said Dr Godfrey, taking reference from 2 Chronicles 20:20 which says (KJV), “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established;believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper,”
He also referred the congregation to Joel 2:28, where Joel prophesied, “and it shall come to pass afterward that God will pour out his Spirit on all flesh,”
“And it shall come to pass – the subject which is begun here is of so different a nature from what goes before, that it seems evident a new chapter ought to be begun here,” he stated
He emphasized that there are natural seasons and spiritual seasons but, it takes prophecy to unlock these seasons. Remember, “God will not do a thing without first revealing it to His servants…”
“My child, today you might be going through a number of frustrations in your life but with the power of God I decree that the season is coming to an end, You will enjoy life and you will live happy in Jesus’ name,”
Taking it a little further with Joel 2:28 – … and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. “God did not say only on a few people but to all flesh (people),”
“Some times your intuition will warn you about what to do or what not to do, where to go, who to trust. So today, as a prophet of your life go ahead and unlock all those seasons in your life,” the pastor said.
