Could your biggest challenge in life actually be spiritually rooted?

The senior Pastor of Christian Discipleship Ministries International (CDMI), Apostle Michael Kimuli has encouraged the Church to exercise its belief in the Word of God, and start teaching the young people and new believers about spiritual warfare.

Apostle Kimuli explained that many today tend to see all their problems and struggles in non-spiritual terms. And because of that, they tend to seek non-spiritual solutions.

“There is a raging war going on day and night. The war is between two (2) forces; negative and positive, evil and good, counterfeit and real, darkness and light.  You are part of the battle, whether you like it on not. You have to choose where you belong. There is no neutral side,” he said.

“The battle we are fighting did not begin here, it began in heaven when Lucifer rebelled against God and was cast down to earth (Revelation 12:8-11). Satan is tricking many into ending up in hell with him,” he continued.

Apostle Kimuli urged many Christians avoid the message of spiritual warfare yet “it is the only solution to the problems they face.”

“Are you contented with where you are in life? Is that the level you want to be at? The devil is in the business of hindering believers (1 Thessalonians 2:18.) There are unseen forces that stand in the way of breakthrough (2: Corinthians 10:5,” he said.

Without prayer, which Apostle Kimuli pointed out as one of the divinely authorized mechanism God has given Christians to tap into His power, the Church is ineffective in spiritual warfare. But with it, we will be victorious, he said.

The preacher called for discernment, and revealed that the enemy operates by deception.

“In life’s journey are obstacles, and forces of resistance but you need to discern the cause. Jesus discerned there was a spirit, Legion, behind storm that attacked the boat he was in with the disciples (Mark 5:9). Bind the strongman behind that situation (Matthew 12:29); when jobless, bind the spirit of poverty, and when sick bind the spirit of death. We need to wake up and fight,” he said.

Adding: “God is a man of war (Exodus 15:3), He wants us to be warriors. He created us to dominate and subdue (Psalms 144:2).You need to break through for yourself, your marriage, your children, your business, your ministry,”

“Spiritual warfare is fighting forces that cannot be seen with physical eyes using weapons of warfare. These weapons are not visible but are effective, and when properly deployed, physical victories are attained.” he said. “Events in the physical are determined by what happens in the spiritual realm. We are in a spiritual warfare in every area of our lives. Don’t reduce spiritual war fare to physical war.  Thank God that he has provided us with these weapons of warfare; The name of Jesus, The word of God, Prophetic declarations, blood of Jesus, East Wind.”

The term “East Wind” appears some 20 times in the Bible. According to the Book of Exodus, Moses “stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.” And then, according to the Bible, the Israelites were free from Pharaoh’s rule.
