Last year, Deliverance Church Makerere Hill launched a Business Conference that run from the 4th to 8th of May as part of the Feast Week which runs every first week of the month, according to the released press statement
In August 2015, the Church hosted Dr. Shingi Munyeza in a two day business conference that was aimed at spurring believers called to the sphere of business.
At the end of the two day conference, it was announced that Dr. Shingi Munyeza would be returning in 2016 to continue the stirring that had begun.
Since the two events typically target Christian Business People, it was against this background that it was proposed to merge the two events together in 2016 and hold both them during the month of August.
The Business Conference is therefore aimed at providing biblical and practical skills on how Christians in the Business sphere can set themselves apart and excel in a sphere where it has sometimes become necessary to compromise one’s Christian standards in order to thrive.
The conference will among other areas discuss branding, finance and investment –the Kingdom way, systems dynamics, building partnerships and networking, as pertains to the Kingdom of God in order to empower Christians to excel in business in a manner that sets them apart as children of the Most High God.
It seeks to engage business oriented members, to learn and engage on matters pertaining to excellence in business in a way that glorifies God and leads to the expansion of His Kingdom.
The Conference is targeting 200 Christian business men and women (both members of Deliverance Church as well as those from other congregations) actively involved in business and marketplace ministry.
The Conference is scheduled for 8th – 13th August 2016 at Makerere Hill Deliverance Church, Kampala
Conference Registration
Conference participation will be tracked through registration, which registration will be used for building a database for the business fellowship for purposes of further networking. The Conference fee is UGX 20,000 for the whole conference or UGX 15,000 per day. Registration shall be done by submitting completed Registration Forms which will be availed at the venue.
