Award winning American gospel music singer and minister, Donnie McClurkin arrived with 12 others in Zambia last night for a concert scheduled for today, Sunday, August 13 at the Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
According to Zambian press, 57-year-old arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka on a South Africa Airways Commercial plane where he was welcomed by Mount Zion Christian Centre officials and Church senior pastor, Bruce Msidi.
Dubbed “Unstoppable Praise,” this concert will also feature several local acts among them Pompi, Trinah, James Sakala, Esther Chungu, Ephraim and many more.
In a commercial video addressing the event proceeding recently, Pastor Donnie urged believers to turn up in numbers, saying, “I’m excited to be coming to Lusaka, Zambia to have a wonderful concert as we are unified in praise to God in this glorious concert on Sunday 13th August.”
The world knows him for his epic albums which include: The Journey (2016), We are all One (2009), The Essential (2007) and Psalms, Hyms and Spiritual Songs (2004).
Pastor McClurkin has performed duets, been on TV shows (Sunday Best) and acted movies such as HopeVille (2007) and The Gospel (2005).
He is a three-time Grammy, 11-time Stellar, and three-time Dove Award winning singer/songwriter and syndicated radio show host.
