The Leadership Council of United Christian Centre (UCC) Church on Wednesday gave an update about Bishop Stephen Senfuma’s health.
They revealed that the Bishop had been admitted at Platinum Hospital, Kampala on Monday after developing “breathing complications. Despite the dire news, the council still has hope that God can intervene and do what man is unable to do.
“He is under close supervision by the competent doctors and they are managing the situation,” the official statement reads. “In case of any other changes, we shall let you know.”
“We call upon everyone to pray for him,” it adds.
Speaking to Uganda Christian News on Thursday, an administrator at the Church confirmed this report, but was however quick to note that the Bishop “is improving.”
“We spoke to the doctors today, and they said he is improving,” the administrator said.
The individual could not reveal further details, but encouraged the body of Christ to Pray.
Who is Bishop Senfuma?
Bishop Senfuma is the Vision bearer of Inner-Man Ministries which includes United Christian Centre (UCC). He is also founder of Innerman Broadcasting Company, which seeks to provide Christ-Centered radio programming.
While his preaching and teachings have had a profound influence on Christians for over 27 years, it is his personal life that is even more inspiring. He currently spearheads a Child Support Ministry that directly addresses the plight of vulnerable children who are situated in Kasubi and surrounding areas.
Having grown up in a family of twenty three siblings, there was never enough food, clothing, school fees and other essentials. Since he was a child, his desire was to study and become a person who would mentor others. But this dream was painfully destroyed when, eventually he could no longer earn enough money out of dancing at weddings and causal labor to pay his school fees. Since then, he has carried this desire is to see that every child gets an education.
