Author and Christian radio host Stella Aza – Madia of the Beauty for Ashes program on spirit FM 96.6 will be launching her new testimony book ‘Beauty for Ashes’ this Saturday at Plaza cinema, Kampala from 8pm to 6am.

The ‘Beauty for Ashes’ testimony highlights challenges that started when her mother tried to throw her in a pit latrine when she was only three months.
While narrating her shocking teenage experiences, Stella says: “One Christmas, when I was 13, I was raped by my friend’s uncle. They had invited me to their home in Nakulabye. I went because I trusted them very much, but I was not aware of what was to befall me. I was set up by my friend, who took me to their guesthouse around Nakulabye to meet her uncle,” she further said, “While at the guesthouse, the friend excused herself and left me alone with the uncle, who raped me. The friend’s uncle threatened to punish me if I reported the incident to anyone,”
“That is why when my brother’s friend also raped me when I was 14, I did not care. I never knew how to handle such situations,” she further told her story to Steven Odeke.

Through her program that airs weekdays, focused on high voltage ministry of healing to the broken hearts, Stella counsels and reaches out to the endangered generation through the word of God and her personal life experiences.

Several guests minister with her in studio, addresses daily life challenges that christians experience including, overcoming frustrations, dealing with rejection, forgiveness, restoration of hope, all through the word of God

Founded in 2001, Beauty for Ashes International Ministries runs under the theme of rescuing an endangered generation, going through silent frustrations.
