Ugandans were thrilled to witness live on stage some of Africa’s finest gospel artists as they performed together with over 20 local artists and Choirs at the Kampala City Festival on Sunday.
The visiting artists facilitated by the global church Believers Loveworld (BLW), popularly known as Christ Embassy left a remarkable impact in the nation, just like in every country they have toured.
Artists; Eden, Martin Pk, Jahdiel and Agent Snypa, who are currently among the foremost gospels acts in Nigeria and South Africa, graced the Christian Stage at Sheraton Hotel Gardens at around 8pm till about 10pm.
Unlike the rest, gospel dancehall reggae artist Agent Snypa had arrived 28 Sept to grace the inaugural Love Loud Rave concert at Kyadondo rugby grounds – Kampala. She was labeled anointed and skillful when she ministered with so much energy on stage.
An atmosphere of worship, inspired through musical renditions, prepared the congregants to receive new insights, graces and inspiration. Martin PK posed a remarkable question that ignited the embers of God’s power for the realization of lofty expectations; “Do you know that anything can happen as we worship right now,” he asks!
Eden, born Emmanuel Benjamin ministered in several of his songs including; ‘Given me victory’, ‘God all by yourself’ among others. Jahdiel songs where worship favorites for many that attended the event.
The group commended BLW President, Rev Chris Oyakhilome (D.Sc., D.D.) and called him a mentor with exemplary love.
During the launch of this Carnival in July, the organisers said Christ Embassy Church sponsored the event with a hundred million shillings. The organisers noted publicity that each official supporter is introduced to special privileges depending on the sponsorship package they choose.
