Renown rapper Lecrae has on Friday issued a statement saying his planned African tour has been postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
As UG Christian News earlier announced, the USA based Grammy award winning rapper had confirmed performing in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and elsewhere in USA and Europe soon after the release of his eight studio album, “All Things Work Together,” which hit several radio waves across the continent starting September 2017.
On their part, Fresh Impressions, all local partners and promoters in various countries affected have committed to giving fans of Lecrae “an amazing, fulfilling and memorable experience” as the TOUR moves to 16th to 26th August 2018.
“All tickets already purchased will be valid for the new dates. However, should one choose to; their tickets will be refunded at the cost price,” a statement from the event management company read.
The following dates have been postponed:
6/6 – Lagos, Nigeria
6/7 – Nairobi City, Kenya
6/8 – Cape Town, SA
6/9 – Johannesburg, SA
6/10 – Kampala, Uganda.
