From a statistical perspective, any person that has accepted Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior tends to be less “nominal” than others. The reason is often obvious—the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Something beyond explanation happens when the Spirit of the Almighty God begins to operate through our lives.
Jeremiah 23:29 says; Is not My Word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? I don’t know what you have been through lately, but it was the fiery Word of God that got right into Jeremiah’s bones. This fiery Word sustained the preacher during his times of discouragement.
During heavy crisis, it motivated, fuelled and fired him to keep yielding to the power of that Word! Get Radical about Jesus Christ. This should happen in and out of season.
Fierypreachers in Uganda where are you? Unless the message of God burns in the preacher’s heart, it certainly will not catch alight in the listener’s heart.
This is what happens, when you appreciate what you have as much as Pentecostals do, you aren’t satisfied to experience it yourself. You are persuaded others should have the same opportunity to partake of the movement of the Spirit of God. You just cannot help but share it.
Being a radical Christian is not a special, high call that’s just reserved for a few special people. It is what God desires for each of us, expects from each of us, and has equipped each of us for. There is no real alternative.
If a few men were able to spark off mega revival in the olden days, it can still happen today in my country. God is able to equip you with the strength of a thousand.
Do your work mates know about Jesus? Do your family members know that the Word of God is a consuming fire? What are you sharing with your friends of Facebook? Get radical for Christ for we have but a few days left. The King returns soon.
“determine to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Cor. 2:2).
Our preaching – the word of God – has the potential to totally transform the lives of those who will believe! Believe what? Who believe what you, the preacher, says! – Christ and Him crucified – Therefore, we had better make very sure that we know how to clearly communicate the Gospel message to our hearers. We hold their keys to eternal life or eternal death!
That’s what the Holy Spirit is in us for; to speak to us and give us the revelation of God to speak to others. Preachers can choose to preach the “revelation Word” or the “learned Word.” The great Bible men lived and preached by the “revelation Word.”
Unfortunately today, too many preachers rely on their Bible knowledge alone. But as we get radical, revelation will come. National revival is here…miss not!
Without the life and fire of the Holy Spirit on the Word we preach, the message will be lifeless. It will lack “punch” and authority.
God has called us, commissioned us, and given us the ability to speak the life-transforming Word of God to all peoples.
Burn, Preacher! Burn for Jesus! It will set Uganda on fire!
To me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labour for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
