Popular British Christian musician, Noel Robinson led more than 80,000 Christians through a power-packed worship experience during the pass over celebration that took place at Nambo0le National stadium on 31st December
The undiluted moments of praise, worship, prophecy and bible teaching commenced early till dawn. Organized by Victory Christian Centre – Ndebba where Pastor Serwadda is lead Pastor, the event was hinged on Exodus 11:7, and run under the theme ‘2018, the year of difference’.
During his earlier interview with press, Noel revealed that he had been to Uganda before, 6 years ago, during a mission with Compassion International where he is an ambassador (United Kingdom).
He cited several instances in the bible where cross over events where encountered, stating that the occasion is significant not just to a believer, but to the nation at large.
“I really believe that the cross over is significant not just for you personally, or the church but for the nation that we can gather in such a way to pray and to encounter God,” he said.
Noel Robinson grew up in the Church following in his father’s footsteps as a musician at his local congregation.
As a teenager, Robinson also took on the added role of itinerate musician, serving other congregations that did not have a music program. By his late teens, he had become the music director for the denomination’s London district and eventually would serve as its national music and communications director.
Today, Robinson and his wife, Tanya, attend City Gates Christian Center in Ilford, an Elim Pentecostal congregation where Robinson serves as a worship team member. He also leads worship regularly at Kensington Temple in London and at other congregations and events around the world.
Robinson’s music recording career began in 1996,with the studio album, O Taste and See, released by Jubal Records. On 11 September 2015, he released a live album, Outrageous Love, with Integrity Music.
