A 7-day gospel mission and outreach that started Monday, left security officials at Kasangati Division Headquarters in Wakiso District lifting up their hands in total surrender to the supreme authority of Jesus Christ.
Led by Samuel Kasigwa of Uganda For Evangelism Ministries, he says he is on a mission for transformation in the spiritual atmosphere of the district, by bringing prayer and hope though the gospel.
The initiative kicked off 19th November in Mattuga town, and he believes it will cultivate a bumper harvest of souls for Christ.
In a statement, Kasigwa said he had a great interactive meeting with the Pastors, Evangelists and Security officers in Mattuga to finalise the planning of the one week evangelical activities.
It is here that he met officers and traffic wardens, and led them into prayer. One by one, the officers raised up their hands. Biblically, the gesture is actually a sign of surrender, once believer remarked on social media.
“We are going to take the gospel to Schools, Police, Prisons, Boda Bodas, the market place and Hospitals,” Pastor Samuel Kasigwa said.
The Ministry group will then have a three day crusade from Friday (23rd) up to Sunday (25th) at the ground near D’s Motel – Mattuga.
Speakers and musicians expected at the venue include Pr Tumusiime Nicholus, Pr Twina Herbert, Meeme Juliet, Afande Grace among others.
A few months back, Kasigwa commented and said: “I used to hear the word revival and I used to read in the Holy bible, but I have seen it with my eyes at Miracle Centre Rubaga where my beloved Pastor and Spiritual Father Pastor Robert Kayanja is ministering during the ongoing 77 Days of glory.”
“It’s amazing and incredible, and would be wise for the whole Uganda to come and partake this,” he said.
