National Unity Platform leader, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, together with his Secretary-General, David Lewis Rubongoya and others have sent their condolences to the Born-again Christian fraternity following the death of Bishop Steven Senfuma, the Senior Pastor of United Christian Church- Kasubi.

Bishop Senfuma who was overseeing over 38 pentecostal Churches in Uganda, passed on 26 June, at the age of 55.

In a statement, Mr Kyagulanyi, recalled Bishop Senfuma as a “very meek and humble servant of God who moved around the country teaching about the INNERMAN.”

Bishop Senfuma taught and preached about placing more emphasis on Godly values than on material wealth, the former presidential candidate said.

“Most importantly, he did not only preach about love, mercy and justice, he lived these values and practiced them. His untimely death leaves within us such a big void,” Mr Kyagulanyi said.

Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya quoted 2 Corinthians 4:16, which reads in part, “Therefore we do not lose heart, even though our outward man wastes away, yet our innerman is being renewed day by day…”

“Thank you Bishop Steven Senfuma for a life well lived. Thank you for being a true teacher and a humble servant of the Kingdom. You fought a good fight. You have finished the race. You have kept the faith. You now rest from the labors of this earth. May God receive your soul in eternal glory,” Rubongoya said.
