Betty Nakibuuka pays tribute to the late USA based Ugandan Pastor Charles Bagenda whose funeral service was held 20th March 2018, at Praise Cathedral Church – Ntinda, Kampala ahead of his burial on 21 March in Bulyansiime village, Iganga district.

Legendary Gospel musician Betty Nakibuuka has emphasized that Jesus Christ is man’s only hope for redemption and urged Christians to remain faithful and spread the gospel.

She was speaking at the funeral service of USA based Ugandan Pastor Charles Bagenda who passed on February 24, 2018 in USA, days after a mission trip to Uganda.

Pr Bagenda was mourned and celebrated at Praise Cathedral – Ntinda on Tuesday. Nakibuuka used the occasion to explain how the preacher’s devotion to evangelistic missions, love and sincerity got people out of their seats to come to Jesus.

“He had a heart for ministry. He died while ministering and serving God,” she said. “This is a challenge to us all to fully serve.”

The renown mother to Baby Gloria urged mourners to fight the good fight of faith and prepare themselves for eternity.

Everything that happens prior to death is a preparation for the journey to eternity, she said.

Betty Nakibuuka sent out a strong reminder to those who have never made the important decision of accepting as their personal Lord and savior, and later sung popular hymn: “Are You Washed in the Blood?”

Bagenda’s life (RIP) was recalled by many mourners who attended one of his church services, or dozens; by those who only saw him on TV or heard him sermons online; by those who knew him mostly as a Pastor, mentor or brother.

Dr Godfrey Kamese, Apostle John Bunjo, Pr Kamya Emmanuel, Pr Kabuye Joseph, Pr Osborn Muyanja, Pastor John Israel Bazze’s wife Esther, Pastor Lydia from Houston Praise Community Church (HPCC), Pr Kenneth Kamese, Pr Magezi, Pr Ssekito, Pr (Mrs) Tumwine, and many more from the national fellowship of born again churches described the deceased as a passionate minister of the gospel.
