Code-named 77 Days of Glory, this daily gathering has seen God demonstrate his love and miracle power to Christians and non-Christians alike.
Many citizens irrespective of their social standing testify to the impact this gathering has had on their lives and families.
As if that is not enough, many of the miracles happening amaze the very team leader of Miracle Center Cathedral, Pr Robert Kayanja.
“In over 30 years of ministry I have seen spiritual manifestations of every kind but the case of this little boy blew my mind away.” Pr Kayanja asserted in relation to one, of countless deliverance testimonies at the Church.
For long the image of the Pentecostal Church in Uganda has been under criticism. Nothing in the recent past has made headlines for main steam media houses other than the conflict and turmoil among born again Pastors and their flock.
Today, they are changing the headline, they are reporting the good news and testimonies. This is a land mark achievement. Once the church is in order, this is absolute guarantee that the nation is stabilizing.
Once the fear of God returns into our lives, once we humble our selves in repentance and pray, the nation can never remain the same.
Lets briefly talk about ‘Kifesi’, the biggest criminal gang in Kampala.
Before the 77 Days of Glory, where majority from this gang denounced their rogue life, news of their attack on unsuspecting individuals had increased exponentially.
Police operations had obviously increased State expenditure so as to tighten city security.
With operations led by CPS Divisional Police Commander, assisted by the Officer in charge of Crime Intelligence at Kampala Central Police Station, many of them were apprehended in possession of stolen phones and wallets.
Most of these were led to church by street evangelists while others just walked in after watching the sessions on television.
The Church now plans to have them equipped with “practical skills as soap-making, electrical installation and repairs, shoe-making, tailoring, catering, photography and videography, agri-business, driving, welding and craft making, among others.”
News of the miracles happening in Uganda is fast reaching the rest of the world – this statement was made by USA gospel artiste Todd Dulaney, the voice behind popular worship ballad, ‘Victory belongs to Jesus’
Many deceived people say that you can still be a Christian and practice witchcraft.
These had turned into potential radio and TV commercial clients here in Uganda. People were losing faith in God. But this convention has flooded media, silencing all other manipulative voices.
Those in captivity have received deliverance. A nation free from witch craft is a blessed nation in all dimensions. Talk about cleared reputation.
Channel 44 is adjusted its programming to see that this message gets to as many people as possible. Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done; to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.
As a Church I believe we should celebrate the power of God in our country. Whilst waiting for Christ to manifest Himself in glory, we have to manifest Him in grace.
We are here to deliver solutions to those in captive, to demonstrate his living Word. We should stand united. God is willing to use you and I. The 77 Days of Glory have reshaped Uganda.
More anointed ministers after God’s own heart are sprouting forth and being revealed. This is not about men, or competition per say. This is about God. And I believe it is just the beginning.
