Christian musician Gloria Mulungi Ssenyonjo alias Baby Gloria has released the official video for her popular single ‘remote control’.
Gloria describes her song as one that seeks to enable Christians understand how “one’s decisions should always base on God’s say and principles.”
“How I came to compose this song happened this way; I was talking to someone. They were asking me to do something. I was like; I need to first ask my mum. They were like; you need to ask your mum before you do everything? My mum is like my remote controller. What she says is what I do. Then I remembered that our parents are a representation of God on earth. That means if God is my father, He controls me, He is my remote controller. He controls everything I do – the things I say, decisions I make,” she earlier told media.
“One of the lines in the song I say, ‘Yesu mpaa discernment, mpaa assistance.’ I don’t want to do things my self but, my remote controller to control me and give me discernment. That is the essence of the song,” she added.
