Andrew Wommack has a television broadcast that is designed to preach the gospel to every nation nearly every day. Because of this show, he has been able to reach millions of hurting people around the world with the love of Jesus Christ.
The well-known USA televangelist will speak at the Gospel Truth Seminar in Uganda on 19-20 October at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds to discuss among others his 50th year in global ministry and the next chapter in his life.
In a statement available on the Ministry website about the Gospel Truth Seminars, Andrew explains that to be effective in ministry on radio and television, he must always maintain personal interaction with those who are following and depending on the ministry.
“This is a fundamental principle that many ministers have forgotten. Radio and television make it possible to reach millions with the good news, but they never afford the opportunity for personal interaction that keeps a ministry fresh and in touch with the needs of people,” the statement reads in part.
For over fifteen years now, the popular preacher says God has continued to open the door for Andrew Wommack Ministries to continue touching lives in Uganda through Lighthouse Television. His programs on this stations have been broadcasted for over 17 years now.
In 2006, Andrew visited Uganda and held his first Gospel Truth event.
There, he met with Pastor Herbert Kiwanuka, and the two began a partnership. Since that time, thousands of people in Uganda have heard the Gospel and are being discipled through churches like Glory of Christ.
The preacher will also share the gospel at Glory of Christ Church on October 21st, before setting off t0 Kenya.
Charis Bible College – Uganda is an extension of Andrew Wommack Ministries Uganda (AWMU).
Many attend either to answer a call from God in preparation for ministry or just to develop their own personal relationship with the Lord. While AWM spreads Andrew’s teaching materials globally, Charis Bible College goes one step further with discipleship.
