Janet Museveni, wife of Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni says that it was such an honor for her to have launched a 3-day youth conference organised by Covenant Nations Church based in Luzira, Kampala, on Wednesday.

Welcomed by the senior pastor and second daughter to president Yoweri Museveni, Ms Patience Rwabogo, the Conference run under the theme “BORN FREE.”

“Wherever you are positioned, the world must see that fruit in you through your conduct, your attitude, your actions and your words. And by your fruits, they shall know that you belong to Christ Jesus,” the First lady remarked on return from Covenant Nations Church.

This conference is intended to culminate with a concert on Friday, featuring several celebrated gospel artists from Zambia that include Pompi, Abel Chungu, Seya, Magnum 44, Flow10ne and crazy fish.

Married to Odrek Rwabwogo, while addressing Pastors and Pastors’ wives who recently converged at Nambole Stadium, Ms Patience Rwabwogo said that she believes that Uganda will rise to glory and be the head of many Nations.

She added that this can however only come to pass through the power of prayer and if all Ugandans uphold their nation.

Answering the question as to why a woman in her position would opt to seek God rather than the pleasures of the world, Patience says during one sermon whose theme is ‘Uncovering Your Destiny’: “It’s a personal responsibility for every believer to spread the gospel.”
