Godwin Muhumuza, host of the Hit List at 104.1 Power FM says that Robinsan and Ruyonga did not have to lose their Identity working together on a new music project.
His statement come into play following the release of ‘I know’, a new gospel song by the two award winning gospel artists.
The song was released last week and like never before, it has left gospel music listeners in absolute gratification.
“There is something unique about that song. A fusion of Robinsan and Ruyonga sound. I have not heard a song like this in a while. Produced with such simplicity yet, with immeasurable quality,” said Godwin, when approached by our reporter for his opinion on the new release.
Robinsan on the other hand credits the new project’s excellence to God. He says that he is working at initiating change in his music, since it’s a wanted one.
“I like change. I don’t like staying in one position. That is why I keep trying out new things and it works for me,”
Married since February 7, 2015, Godwin Muhumuza is always on air with the Hit List from 8-9pm (weekdays). Within this show, he hosts several artists, counting down the hottest gospel music in and around Uganda.
“‘I know’ maintains the depth of the Word reminding us of who we are in Christ. None of them had to lose their identity to work together on this project. I sense maturity in this song,”
He says that this new track has allowed them see the gospel industry from one level to another.
