Ugandan Pastor David Bweyinda, of Redeemed Church, Masajja, has testified about his friend’s miraculous healing after teetering on the brink of death for days in ICU.
The preacher revealed in a video on Monday that during a mission trip abroad, last year, he received an emergency call from a family that had spent sleepless nights worried about a beloved relative at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) in Metro Denver.
“I received an emergency call to go in haste to pray for him to rest in peace, but when I reached I prayed the prayer of healing,” the pastor shared.
“All organs had stopped, his heart was on the support of machines and doctors had given him hours to die,” he said.
Pastor David Bweyinda says he believed God for the man’s healing, as the doctors didn’t expect him to go beyond a machine.
After prayer, “we asked that they live him as he was on life support,” Bweyinda explained.
After several more weeks, the patient awoke from his coma.
Pastor Bweyinda says the young man made a full recovery and returned to his hometown where they held special thanksgiving celebrations on 14 March, 2022.
“The man is out of the hospital back to his family, running and praising the name of the LORD. I thank his wife for hanging in and believing in the prophetic anointing,” Bweyinda said.
Many on social media have since responded to the testimony, urging that one can trust God with everything, and in every situation.
