The Christmas Reality: All things are possible

'God proves Himself regardless of what nature says.'

By Pastor Ben Ochola

But the angel said, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.
[Luke 1:13]

The story of Christmas is the fulfillment of the promise of God: Prophesies find their fulfillment. Visions become tangible. Impossibilities become possible.

God proves Himself regardless of what nature says. He is the master of creation and when He says something, His Words find fulfilment in our lives. His word will always come through where He is believed.

In the realm of man, it was impossible for Zacharias and Elizabeth to have children. Heaven however decided and a child was born.

Child of God, what seemed impossible is going to happen to the you.

Same was with Mary:

The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.”

We are talking about God defying the laws of nature. What nature declares impossible, the master will do it. Let’s learn from the father of our faith, Abraham:

That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!”_
[Romans 4:17-18]

Child of God, don’t believe God for things that are ordinary. The master has come to make good His Word. Whatever He speaks gets fulfilled.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. [2 Timothy 1:12]

God can’t lie, you will see what you believed. He is able to keep what you have committed to Him. What have you committed to Him?

Remove any limitation you have placed on God. If you edited your vision alleging that you were excited, rewrite it. There are reasons to believe again. All God wants is a yes.

Your Blessed And Highly Favored.
