Multitudes of university students gathered at Ndejje University Kampala Campus in Mengo for the 26th Inter University Revival Night aimed at among others teaching, equipping and igniting young people towards revival and evangelism.
Organised by Pastor Ssenyonjo Isaac, leader of the Inter University Students Fellowship and Youth Revival Movement – Seekers, the event on Friday was not only graced by students hungry for God’s transformation power, but also preachers from countries including Finland.
According to Pastor Isaac Ssenyonga, all universities across the country need this kind of revival meeting that stirs hearts of the young generation to cling to Jesus irrespective of their circumstances and backgrounds.
His hope is that the young generation will have a spiritual reset and that revival will be ignited in their institutions.
“We are believe God for an outpouring of His Spirit upon the young generation in our country,” Pastor Isaac Ssenyonga said.
Along with a full night of ministry through music and testimonies, were power packed sermons pointing toward Jesus and the Bible.
Several gospel ministers including Pastors Brian Lubega and Wilson Bugemebe were in attendance. Others were Pastor Arto Boa, Founder Gospel First International and his team from Finland.
“We had a taste of Ugandans spiritual awakening! It’s amazing what God is doing here! It was a great privilege to preach to young people of Uganda,” Pastor Arto Boa stated on social media.
Pastor Ssenyonga says there are many events of the kind organized under the Inter University Fellowship with a sole purpose of transforming, healing and saving University students in Uganda.
