In the midst of hardships we unconsciously tend to move our eyes away from God unto ourselves. We become obsessed with our trials because we want to fix them so we think!
As our efforts fail to solve the challenges, we rage against God asking Him to remember us! The preachers do not make it better either as they tend to think they are encouraging us when they say “God shall remember you!” That is blasphemy!
God cannot forget you at all.
Isaiah 49:16 says, ‘see, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.’
Every-time you cry out to God to remember you, it is not that He has forgotten you, but that you have been focusing on yourself and what you are going through and this behavior removed God from your consciousness. You have forgotten Him not Him forgetting you.
God shall not remember you because He has never forgotten you no matter what you are facing today.
Just keep your faith instead of believing the myth that God shall remember you, yet it is you that has forgotten Him as you focused on your trials and you.
