Speaker Kadaga receives Holy Communion as she turns 63

She was encouraged to trust in the Lord as her fortress and rock.

All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala Provost Rev. Canon Dr. Rebecca Nyegenye and other Clergy members visited the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga in her officer on Friday.

The purpose of this visit was to pray and share Holy Communion with the Speaker, after her return to work.

This, however coincided with the speaker’s birthday. She was born May 24, 1956.

Reading from 2 Samuel 22: 1-8, they encouraged her to trust in the Lord as her fortress and rock.

A jovial Kadaga welcomed the Holy Communion gesture and was thankful for the ceaseless prayers from All Saints’ Cathedral.

The Provost was accompanied by the Assistant Provost, Rev. Capt. David Serunjoji, Rev. Moses Ahimbisibwe and Ms. Viola Kitty Swaran, an Assistant Warden.
