The founder of Phaneroo Ministries International, Apostle Grace Lubega has urged ministers of the gospel to remain faithful to Christ and boldly proclaim the uncompromised Word of God.
Speaking to believers on Thursday in the central business district Kampala, Apostle Grace Lubega explained that God knows the hearts of men, and that if certain things are not laid down clearly, “we are going to lose something very precious in the gospel.”
He explained that it is so crucial for the body of Christ not to put faith in the wisdom of men or promote canal ideologies and doctrines regardless of how convincing they may be.
Quoting Mark 4:24, Apostle Grace Lubega challenged believers to look beyond the surface, and carefully examine what is spoken at the altar. He said there is more to the gospel than money and influence.
“If we don’t see and teach certain things in a certain way, slowly but surely, the anointing and the operation of the power of the Holy Spirit is leaving our altars,” he cautioned listeners.
“Preachers are becoming counsellors like guys who did psychology. They are just using human psychology and not the gospel with its answers,” Apostle Grace Lubega further explained.
He urged that altars in Churches today are getting defiled.
“Today the strength of churches – many, not all – is politics and money. It is not in the power of God. It is not in the demonstration of His Spirit. It is not in the revelation of His wisdom and the understanding of His heart,” he said.
“The anointing is not on the altars. They speak and even invent theologies to dispel the power of God,” he said.
“If the gospel does not have power to heal, deliver and change, it is not the gospel. It is a worldly secular psychology class. And sadly and painfully, the power of God is leaving our altars because we are missing the order of the spirit,” he said. “The Jesus I know opens blind eyes, he cleanses the lepers and raises the dead. He gets viruses out of bodies and kills cancer. The one I know, can level valleys.”
“Sadly, even the born-again faith is starting to look religious. It speaks something, and demonstrates another. That is the spirit of religion. And once men submit themselves to religion, they start to die,” he said.
“I believe these things are starting to create lines in this dispensation. The bible says; because of their indifference and rejection of knowledge, I have appointed children over them,” he said.
He then quoted 2 Corinthians 2:14 which says; But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.
“A time has come where God must give us a godly mature people. Where if someone says they are a father, they are really a father – and they are not only a father of their church, they are a father to a nation. They can instruct young women, they can instruct young men in the way that they should go,” Apostle Grace Lubega said.
