It’s quite mind boggling how much people want the new yet they’re holding on tightly to what they must let go.
God has no business reviving what He has sentenced to death!
Is it not because of your current situation that you need a renewal?
Acts 3:19
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
The above is God’s condition for experiencing the new wine.
There has to be a conversion from what was.
A total shift in mindset and line it up with the current flow.
Then the wind from His throne will blow and the rain of His Presence shall fall.
Times of refreshing only comes when we abandon the old. We must let go of what we think is good and right for us, and in humility go before the Lord with an open heart for Him to write on our hearts what He has purposed and destined for us for the moment.
It’s God’s kingdom not ours.
The blue print for every step we must take is with Him.
He says we must go for daily bread…daily instructions.
Gives us this day our daily bread!
Heaven can’t touch the earth unless the earth lines up with it.
As its heaven, let it be done on earth.
Prefer His will to yours!
When David was fleeing from king Saul, he and his men were given bread from the presence and they went forth in the strength of that bread and did exploits ( 1Sam 21:4-6)
We know good doesn’t mean God.
Old is old whether it’s good or bad.
Luke 5:36-39.
“And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.”
It’s the reason sometimes the old generation tend to hold back the young ones because they still have a liking for the old moves of the Spirit.
You have got to get rid of your pride if you want to partake of the fresh flow of the Holy Spirit.
Don’t allow the old to stop you from experiencing the new that God has for you.
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
With God, it’s always from glory to glory.
If it’s not more glorious than the previous then we are in drama.
Haggai 2:9
“The glory of this latter house shall be greater gthan of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts”
What follows the true manifestation of the new is Peace!
In which place will he give peace?
In the fresh glory.
Locate the place called Glory and your case is settled!
Stay blessed and favored.
