Sermons by Apostle Grace Lubega of Phaneroo Ministries International are to start airing on TV in India.

Speaking during the South Sudan National Prayer Day at the International University Of East Africa (IUEA) on 30th March, 2019, Apostle Grace Lubega revealed that the Ministry will be able to reach multitudes of viewers most especially in South India, which includes the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

“Recently a couple sent me a message and they said, we have one of the biggest television stations in the South of India, and the Lord has told us to play your sermons for free,” he said.

“In about a week or so, we are going to be streaming sermons live in India, teaching the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” he added.

Christianity is India’s second-largest minority religion after Islam, with approximately 28 million followers, constituting 2.3 percent of India’s population, reports show.

In 2019, India ranked tenth on the Watch List of 50 countries where it is most dangerous to live as a Christian.

Moving on, at the gathering, Apostle Grace Lubega spoke of ‘God’s purpose for South Sudan’ noting that for the past 3 years, God laid it upon his heart to pray for South Sudan.

“There are many things that sit at the core of every nation. There are many spiritual things that are attached to nations. God’s mind for nations is bigger than any one of us can assume or even imagine,” he said.

“The Lord started showing me very many things about that nation, and one outstanding vision that I saw, brought tears to my eyes,” he continued. “I know the spiritual atmosphere that is in that nation. I know how much they need God,”

Apostle Grace said everything South Sudan is going through is characteristic of a nation that is younger.

“The bible is very clear, righteousness exalts a nation. The more a nation gets to know God, they might not necessarily advance in all things, although consequently they do, but there are things that start shaping in the fibre of that nation’s identity. Common decency, common good, respect, honor, accountability and responsibility,” he explained.

He urged the congregation that “the answer is not in politicians” but God.

“Don’t think for a moment that the poverty, the trouble and everything you are going through is who you are, no,” he said.

For Uganda to gain victory over the Idi Amin regime, Apostle grace said it was a group of Christians who joined their hands together and prayed that the identity of our nation is changed.

“They believed God for the change of the identity of their nation. Idi Amin was not ousted because he did not have weapons of power, he was ousted because the church believed God for the change of the history of that nation,” he said

Adding: “There are things we will never be able to make clear to certain people because they go beyond the deepest grammar to explain. God is an experience that will never be explained fully for somebody to understand.”
