Popular TV station NBS is set to host several of Uganda’s top gospel musicians this Friday at 10pm (EAT), under a theme of ‘Gospel’.
The lineup includes Pr Wilson Bugembe, Coopy Bly, Levixone, Holy Keane Amooti, Exodus, Lyrical Mycheal, Robinsan, Deejay Awar, JK shine, Morgan Isaac, King Wesley, Paul Selah, Lena Price, and many more
Many believers have expressed excitement over this new development and believe it is a great opportunity for the Christian musicians to witness to millions of viewers.
This will happen during the ‘Katch Up’ program hosted by Douglas Lwanga, Anitah Fabiola and MC Isaac.
A recent TV audience market survey by IPSOS Marketing Limited revealed that NBS Television is the most watched English television channel in the Central part of Uganda.
“NBS is not a gospel TV, and it’s one of the top big stations,” Morgan Isaac remarked. “We are not paying, but to show solidarity, Jesus to the world.”
The gospel stars say they would love to do it every month on every main stream TV in the country.
Douglas Lwanga in a tweet, described the gospel-led initiative as ‘taking over.’
“The Bible tells me, your gift will make room for you – Representing Christ Jesus to the fullest,” tweeted Deejay Awar.
