On the night that gave away to 2018, Christians at Pneuma Word Ministry Fellowship were told to pray for South Africa, as the Ministry leader, Prophet Brian Kagyezi spoke of the political crisis that would befall the country.
This happened five (5) months after the same prophet spoke of the abrupt and sudden changes that awaited Zimbabweans in regard to President Robert Mugabe.
“Now, we seriously need to pray because this is commotion. This is how you will know that what I am saying is true. Even South Africa, there is something happening. There is going to be a change in that Presidency there,” he said, according to a video the ministry posted Thursday of the 31st December cross overnight.
According to Pneuma Word Ministry, this prophecy was “all accurate and detailed” as the people of South African and observers across the globe witnessed the end of the “Zuma era,” when he announced his resignation in a televised address to the nation this week.
“I have to come to a decision to resign with immediate effect,” he said late on Wednesday in Pretoria, amid intense party (African National Congress) and public pressure to step down over long-standing corruption allegations.
Further more, Kagyezi, on 31 January, according to the video, threw light on who would be appointed president after Zuma’s resignation.
“As we speak right now, there is a man that they have chosen to be the flag bearer. A different one. His name starts with a ‘C’ – ‘C.R.Y.I.L’ – I don’t know whether it is pronounced that say, but remember the name,”he said in part.
On Thursday, Cyril Ramaphosa was sworn in as South Africa’s new president.
“The prophetic word is still doubted by many people but soon, they will accept it,” the Ministry earlier said in a statement to press.
Adding: “Ugandans are not going to stop prophetic works because the number of prophets is growing and so are their followers. The rise of prophets has nothing to do with money; it has everything to do with Scripture.”
Prophet Brian Kagyezi is a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and currently a CEO of Echrise- a software company.
At 24 years of age, Kagyezi set out to build the vision of Pneuma Word Ministries, with anticipation of seeing change in the face of Christianity in Uganda. He was formerly a dance leader at both Masaka Pentecostal Church (MPC) and at Kampala Pentecostal Church – now Watoto Church.
