Death has occurred of Peter Ahimbisibwe Ntagali, son to the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Stanley Ntagali.
Peter Ntagali passed away Friday morning , “after a short illness,” according to a short statement issued by Rev. Canon Amos Magezi, the Provincial Secretary at the Church headquarters, Namirembe.
“The family of the Most Rev. Stanley and Mama Beatrice Ntagali regret to announce the death of their son, Peter Ahimbisibwe Ntagali, on Friday morning, 9th December,” the statement says.
As the New Vision reports, the late is survived by his wife Patience Arinda Ahimbisibwe and their two daughters.
The funeral service will be at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Namirembe, on Saturday December 10, at 5pm. Burial will be later at their family home in Hoima.
