Deliverance Church Mbale is set to bring a message of hope, love, forgiveness, transformation and salvation to the residents of Mbale and the surrounding towns.

This will be done through a ‘Worship Night’ that draws its theme, “Now is the time”, from 2 Corinthians 6:2.

Speaking to UG Christian News, the church says that this Worship Night event has been organised by its young people, Endless praise youth, with the purpose of reaching out to their fellow youth in and around Mbale who are hurting, hopeless and desolate.

“The event additionally seeks to raise funds to facilitate the local church, and equip the worship and praise department. We are using praise and worship as a tool. We will have deliverance and prayer sessions as well.” The Church says.

This ‘Worship Night’ is slated for Friday 30th December, 2016 at Deliverance Church Mbale Gardens from 6pm to 9pm, gates open at 5pm.

“It is the first of its kind in Mbale. We expect to reach about 2000 people around this area. It is going to be the event of the year,” The Church adds “Loads of people have confirmed attendance. Entrance will be 3000ugx for adults, 1000ugx for Children.”

Located in the Eastern Region of Uganda, Deliverance Church Mbale is one of over 400 churches operating under the Deliverance Church Uganda Umbrella, an indigenous Church that was started in 1967.

Deliverance Church Mbale is the Eastern Apostolic Base of Deliverance Church Uganda covering all except the Busoga Region Districts.

Elsewhere, the Church gives back to the community through JOYCE Primary School, JOY Hospice, Buwasunguyi Health Centre and Nabuyonga Child Development Centre, Child Survival Programme among others.

“These are some of the strategies to reach the community with the gospel and making ourselves relevant.” The Church emphasizes.
