Christians at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga will on Thursday witness 280 couples take their vows to enter into the covenant of Holy Matrimony
The mass wedding, expected to start 9am, will be officiated by the Church senior Pastor Robert Kayanja who on Tuesday told believers that this wedding will be bigger than what they saw during the second phase of 77 Days of Glory.
“Hundreds are going to sanctify their marriages. I believe it’s going to be incredible.” He said.
“Our volunteers and staff are busy working, putting up tents for the weddings, reception of the cakes – they are hundreds; I don’t know how many people are getting married, but they are in hundreds. It is just unbelievable. Only the Holy spirit can do this. Our budget is way up, but God is going to meet the need.” He added.
When UG Christian News contacted the Church on Wednesday, Pastor Andrew Mwesigwa, head of the marriage department confirmed these preparations, and noted that exactly 280 couples were set to exchange their vows of marriage.
Pastor Kayanja additionally told congregants that 77 Days of Glory season 3 will be concluded on Friday.
“Friday of course is our last day of signing a covenant with God for 77 D.O.Gs Phase three. We will take Holy Communion and have fun. Hundreds of thousands of people are coming as we close the 77 D.O.Gs season 3. I believe God is going to do tremendous work.”
