Sony Pictures is coming out with a new film titled “Miracles from Heaven,” on March 16th.
A young girl suffering from a rare digestive disorder finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident. Based on the book ‘Miracles From Heaven’ by Christy Beam.
The beginning of the trailer shows the family having a good life. One night, however, their daughter Anna (Kylie Rogers) screams in pain. Christy and her husband Kevin (Martin Henderson) soon find out that Anna has a rare, incurable disease.
The teaser does not give more details on how the family deals with the illness or how they search for a solution. However, there are moments when everything seems hopeless but the couple continue to encourage one another to hold on to their faith to keep believing that there will be a solution.
Another tragedy happens after Anna returns home: She goes out to play with her sister, climbing the huge old tree in their yard. While they are up 30 feet from the ground, hanging on to one of the big branches, the branch accidentally breaks and sends Anna to the ground.
Making the film has made a great impact on the actress Jennifer Garne that she now regularly attends church with her children.
Jennifer Garne said in an interview with media “There was something about doing this film and talking to my kids about it and realizing that they were looking for the structure of church every Sunday and so it was a great gift of this film that it took us back to finding our local Methodist church and going every Sunday. It’s so sweet!”
The movie will feature other famous personalities like , Queen Latifah, Martin Henderson, John Carroll Lynch among others.
