Through bible verses, angels are referred to from 294 to 305 times. References to angels occur at least 116 times in the Old Testament and 175 times in the New Testament.
Though at times they have been given the ability to reveal themselves in the form of human bodies as in Genesis 18:3, they are described as “spirits” in Hebrews 1:14.
Pr Robert Kayanja has during this week’s 77 Days of Glory [D.O.Gs] revival meeting said that each believer has 150,000 angels. He came to this figure following computations from the revelator, John in Revelation 5:11 which says: “Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.”
He adds that with such a record number of angels, Christians should show confidence amid crisis and utilize this ministry accordingly.
“When you make a party, you must consider your guests. The earth has 7 billion people plus. Heaven, has one hundred trillion based on the book of revelation – thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. Which means each one of you are in the company of more that 150,000 angels who are ready to serve you all the time.” Pr Kayanja said.
“You have 150,000 angels at your disposal. Stop going around saying; my enemies are after me – too many enemies – you have 150,000 angels, and they are ministering spirits. And when God selects angels to work in your company, or be in charge of you – even the devil knows it.” He added.
The Channel 44 CEO used Psalm 91:12 to reveal that satan used this very revelation to tempt Jesus Christ during his fast in the wilderness.
“For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone,” Satan quoted to Jesus, as Pr Kayanja explained.
“Do you know there angels watching you vigilantly, very-time and every where you go? But they are waiting for your command. The problem is that you are not talking – you are too silent. You don’t know the power there is. That is why you fear the witches, in laws, false prophets and enemies.” He said.
The preacher urged that Christians should become confidence for “those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:16)
