We just received the sad news that Gospel rapper Hillary Luuka generally known by his middle name New Testament, is in critical condition due to injuries he sustained in a car accident last night.
According to sources, he was knocked down by a car and almost lost consciousness before good Samaritans were able to free him from the scene to hospital where he is currently admitted.
New Testament, voice of the 2015 hit singles Virtuous Woman, Zoe, Redeemed, Musaalaba (The Cross) is a prolific artist in the gospel industry.
During his recent interview with media, he made a comic chronicle of people who think ‘New Testament’ is only a stage name yet real name; he put in plain words his reason for singing saying that although music is supposed to inspire listeners, it is more than that.
“When I looked at the music industry, there was something lacking because if there is a person with a disability seated on a wheelchair and he does not get out of the wheelchair and then I am singing, if the lame person does not get up walk, then I am doing inspirational not gospel music, because, imagine if Christ was rapping; what could happen?” he explained
His desire is to see people’s lives wholly changed.
