The City Church located in Luzira, a suburb of Kampala on Sunday gathered women from all walks of life to address several key issues among Christian Women including beautiful, valuable and identity in Christ.

The annual event, dubbed ‘The Princess Night’, saw several women including pastors wives share a message of God’s love, hope, and restoration among both the young and old, in an environment enhanced to express their emotions.

In an earlier statement issued by the Church, ‘Princess Night’ seeks to bring comfort to ladies who work hard throughout the year, get tired and stressed but, they never get time for themselves.

The event comes to make ladies feel special about who they are and how much they are valued.  The participants dress with modestly and in loyal colors, and sum it all with a crown.

“When we come together and share the issues we go through, then we get encouraged. It’s a time for every lady to be treated like a Princess, dress like one, eat like one, and shine like one,”

“We get to hear why we are created, and then end the event with crowning. By the time we leave, we are pampered, treated to loyalty and ready to face another year. So the reason we do the princess night every year is to inspire every lady to go through another year stronger than before,” a statement from the church reads in part.
