The HIT Awards management on Monday unveiled this year’s honorary award categories. The big question is, who will be taking which honorary award.

The honorary awards are given by the discretion of the board of the Hit Awards academy to celebrate the Christian’s achievements that are not covered by existing award organizers.

Unlike the music and media categories released earlier, those to whom the Academy confers its Honorary Award do not have to necessarily meet certain criteria for example, being active in 2015/16.

Like the HIT lifetime Achievement honorary Award and the HIT Family Ministry honorary Award have been used to reward significant time achievements of recipients.

Last year, Philanthropic personality of the year honorary award was presented to Esther Kalenzi of 40 Days Over 40 Smiles Foundation, Business of the year honorary award was presented by Dr. Maggie Kigozi and it went out to Victorious Education.

The Evangelistic honorary award was given to Pr. Robert Kayanja. Pompi from Zambia and King Wesley presented this award. From All Saints Church, Rev J received the honorary award for his Ministry to the youth.
